Alastair Michael

Associate Producer

Alastair is based in Manchester and has produced and performed theatre at a small/mid-scale since 2014. He started out by founding Ransack Theatre in partnership with theatre director, Piers Black, and continues to be the Company Producer of Ransack (Supported Artists at Royal Exchange Theatre 2018 - 2019). After training on Liverpool’s Everyman and Playhouse Young Producers programme between 2016 and 2017, he began developing his independent producing practice. In the last 6 years, he has produced ambitious new theatre in tandem with large-scale community engagement. He has a specific interest in new writing and issue-based theatre. In 2021, he was grateful to be a recipient of Stage One’s Bursary supporting New Producers.
